Client Support - Operational Phase

The following information describes each of the support services which will be available to you following the implementation phase of your project and system 'go live':

Helpdesk

Anchor Point:HelpdeskFrom the day your TeamSpirit HR and Payroll software is installed, you will have support from our highly trained Helpdesk staff that will help you with any technical problems relating to your integrated HR software solution.

To ensure that the most efficient service is provided to our clients, each call to the Helpdesk is timed and logged, so that our performance can be constantly monitored. Each call is given a unique reference number. This number is quoted to the client and is used to track the issue through our system to its final conclusion. It also forms the basis of our management system from which daily reports are generated to ensure we give our clients the best service possible.

You can also benefit from our remote HR and Payroll support service that enables the Helpdesk to access your TeamSpirit system via Webex.

Helpdesk Bulletins are available on our Client Services website. These are published at regular intervals, and cover topics of interest to all TeamSpirit users.

 

Client Services Website

As a TeamSpirit user you will have access to our Client Services Website, which contains helpful information on our integrated Payroll, P11d, HR, Time & Attendance and Recruitment Software, plus our web-based Manager Self Service, Employee Self Service and eApply (online vacancy application) modules, including Helpdesk bulletins, future Client Awareness Days, HR Training Course overviews and downloads of HR and Payroll Software tools and documentation. Clients will also benefit from the ability to request training and order payslips online.

You will also have access to our TeamSpirit Enhancements section, enabling you to request new features that you would like to see within the system.

 

Software Updates

Changes in legislation need not concern you as we are responsible for ensuring that TeamSpirit meets all current and future statutory requirements. In October 2000 we became the first company to gain accreditation from the Inland Revenue's (now HMRC) Payroll Accreditation Scheme, and we have to gain re-approval every year. We also attend regular HMRC, Payroll Alliance and BCS meetings to ensure TeamSpirit continues to meet its statutory obligations.

As a TeamSpirit user you will receive software updates as part of your maintenance support contract with us. These include a statutory year-end update that incorporates any changes required for the new tax year.

In addition there is at least one other update during the year that ensures you are kept up-to-date with new features and enhancements. Plus at any time you can upgrade your TeamSpirit Human Resource software system to add a new module as your needs change. When purchased, dditional concurrent users can also be added, at any time by just updating your configuration file.

 

Client Awareness Days

TeamSpirit's HR software Client Awareness Days provide the opportunity to take time out of the office to update yourself on how to get the most from TeamSpirit. Located around the country to minimise your travel time, the Client Awareness Days offer a convenient and cost-effective way to meet up with other TeamSpirit users as well as members of the TeamSpirit client services team. At our Client Awareness Days, information and technical advice is on hand on each of the TeamSpirit HR modules including our Payroll Software, Recruitment Software, P11D Software, Time and Attendance Software and HR Software.

A popular feature of these Client Awareness Days is our 'Hints and Tips' section where we take a specific function within TeamSpirit. Recent examples have been 'P45 Processing', and 'How to design summary reports in TeamSpirit'.

Seminars and Training Courses

As a TeamSpirit user you will receive regular invitations to HR software training sessions held at a number of UK locations. These courses supplement your initial in-company training by providing refresher courses on selected TeamSpirit software topics. Recent examples have covered subjects such as TeamSpirit Reporting and Basic Personnel.

Once a year we offer our popular Year End course enabling you to have access to our government legislation expert to guide you through the year-end process and emphasise any new statutory requirements. The course is usually organised at 8 different UK locations to make them as accessible to all TeamSpirit users as possible.

 

HR and Payroll Stationery and Consumables

TeamSpirit Human Resource software clients have access to a wide range of HR and Payroll stationery items such as P11d and P60 forms, plus various styles of payslip, including laser printed versions. We can also supply payslip sealing machines to reduce the cost of folding and sealing laser printed payslips.

The Time and Attendance software user can also obtain special stationery for producing secure barcode employee badges, plus associated pouches and laminators.
