12th October 2010: Bond International Software, the global provider of recruitment & human capital management software & services, has launched new flexible, self-customisation capabilities for Bond TeamSpirit, its HR, Payroll and Time & Attendance software - User Definable Online Forms.

HR departments using Bond TeamSpirit are now able to design their own online forms via its employee-self-service module so that any employee-related information that an organisation may require can be collected. This is in direct contrast to many of Bond TeamSpirit's competitors who only provide generic employee self-service online forms and can only customise them at additional developer cost.

This allows the nuances of each business to be readily accommodated rather than being able to collect only basic, generic information from employees, HR departments can request precise information according to the nature of the business.

Nigel Derbyshire, IT and Development Manager at Bond TeamSpirit, explains, "Many systems will allow HR departments to only gather prescribed data from their employees, such as contact details and basic records such as qualifications or availability. However in many instances, further information is necessary for effective day to day operations - such as where multiple alternative contact details may be required or if protective clothing is provided by an employer, clothes and shoe sizes may be vital. All of this information is highly important, but cannot be gathered through employee self-service forms without costly investment in development."

Bond TeamSpirit is now sufficiently flexible to allow HR departments to build their own employee self-service online forms that precisely match their internal processes. Rather than relying on generic, hard-coded forms, users can use the highly intuitive Ajax-driven 'drag and drop' technology to design their own templates and import data into Bond TeamSpirit's single database that underlies both the HR and Payroll functions.

Derbyshire continues, "We have deliberately designed the new customisation function to be as easy to use as possible. There is little point in designing a product that sidesteps the cost and time that usually has to be invested in extra development and customisation, if the solution to the problem takes a comparable amount of time to learn how to use!
