Stationery Supplier Commercial Group Implements Bond

10th November 2011: Bond Teamspirit, the provider of modular yet integrated HR, Payroll and Time and Attendance software, and Bond Payroll Services, the BACS-registered and fully HMRC-accredited payroll outsourcing solution, have been selected by office services company Commercial Group to support its HR and Payroll functions.

The implementation of Bond Teamspirit software will allow Commercial to have complete control over its HR and Payroll data, while the use of Bond Payroll Services allows Commercial to outsource the physical processing of the payroll, any PAYE payments, the management of HMRC requirements and the payment of Net Pay to its employees via BACS.

Commercial Group is the largest independently owned office services company in the UK, and supplies office stationery and solutions businesses nationwide.

Prior to implementing Bond Teamspirit and Bond Payroll Services, Commercial was using a completely outsourced service. Having achieved significant growth in the past 12 months, which has seen the workforce increase to 170 employees, the company wanted to implement its own internally-managed, fully integrated HR and payroll system. Specifically the solution needed to provide complete visibility of reliably accurate employee data on time and attendance, employee records and payroll through one single database. In addition, Commercial preferred to appoint a supplier who could provide the tools with which to manage the data, but could also manage the payment processing through an outsourced service.

Bond has provided Commercial with both a software and an outsourced service, which has delivered upon all requirements and is flexible enough to grow with the company as it continues to expand in the future.
